Do I need new software or just a better setup?
Often the software you already pay for can do far more than you use it for. We start by reviewing your current tools and how your team works. If a better configuration solves the problem, we recommend that. We only suggest a new system when the existing one genuinely cannot meet your needs.
Who keeps control of our data and licences?
Your business should. We recommend that software licences, admin accounts, domains and hosting are held in the business's name, with owners holding the main access. That way you stay in control of your data and systems, whoever supports them in future.
Why does tax compliance matter when choosing business systems?
MIRA has advised taxpayers that accounting software and POS systems must be configured to capture the information required by tax law, and it is rolling out an e-invoicing system that integrates with taxpayers' systems. Choosing and configuring systems with this in mind avoids costly rework later.
